It is recommended that you see your family physician, just to make sure your physical conditions (known or unknown) are taken into consideration while practicing yoga.

Bring...your yoga mat or borrow one of ours and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothing. You may bring a notebook or journal and something to write with. It is best to come to class with an empty stomach - 2 to 3 hours after a large meal or 1 hour after a light meal.
Each class is a sequence of pratapana (warm up exercises), Asana (postures) that stretch, strengthen and balance your body and pranayama (breath). Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation.

Yoga addresses all of the various systems in the body; Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Circulatory, Digestive, Endocrine. With positive results and not limited to the following ailments; Arthritis, Allergies, High Blood Pressure/Heart Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Diabetes.
In practicing Yoga, know your body and respect its limits.
